POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Associate Dean, Academics & Assessment, the Chair, Clinical Sciences will be charged with oversight of the development, implementation and updating of the Clinical Sciences Curriculum in all four years.
The Chair will also be responsible for oversight of all personnel in the department including faculty, staff and any students engaged in a teaching or mentoring component of the curriculum. In collaboration with the Office of Clinical Education & GME, the Chair will help develop critical teaching points in the Clinical Education phase of the Clinical Sciences curriculum to include collaboration and assistance in training of partnering adjunct faculty and preceptors. The Chair will collaborate with faculty, students, and community partners to foster a culture of clinical excellence and ensure alignment with the school’s mission and values.
